La Ventana Tango Dinner-Show with optional Classic Bus Ride

About This Experience
La Ventana is staged in a historic San Telmo building and leans on the golden-age register: live musicians, dancers working close to the tables, and a room dressed to look like the era it is playing. It is a mid-sized house — larger than El Querandí's chamber room, considerably smaller than the Puerto Madero halls.
For a dinner booking the useful detail is how cleanly the options are separated. Rather than burying the transfer question in the fine print, La Ventana sells it as an explicit line item: **Dinner & Show without Transfer** and **Show Only Without Transfer** sit alongside the versions that include round-trip pickup from central accommodation. You know exactly what you have bought before you pay.
The drinks are handled generously and without tiering. Wine, beverages and coffee or tea all appear in the inclusions rather than being attached to a particular menu grade, and the house red is something the venue makes a point of. There is no open-bar-versus-house-wine distinction to decode here.
The dinner is three courses of Argentine classics served in the hours before the show. Dietary requirements are handled, but the listing is explicit that they must be advised **at the time of booking** — this is not a venue where a request made on arrival will be met.
The oddity worth knowing about is the arrival. One booking option brings you to the venue in an old-style vintage bus, which is either a charming way to open the evening or an unnecessary complication depending on your temperament. It is a separate option from the ordinary transfer, so choose deliberately rather than by accident.

One option arrives by old-style vintage bus.
What Travelers Say
Rated 4.7/5 by 64 verified GetYourGuide travelers.
From the moment we walked in, we were impressed with the decor throughout the venue. Sebastian was our server and he was top notch! He was super attentive, made sure our glasses were always filled, and he was very professional throughout the dinner. The show was amazing! We were surprised and excited to see other local dances, not just tango. Great musicians, great food, great dancers, and excellent service. I would definitely recommend this activity to anyone who is struggling to narrow down their tango show choices.

Both the dinner and the Tango show were excellent. I really enjoyed the steak, but there were many options on the menu, which was great because my husband does not eat meat. Each couple got a bottle of wine and that was good too. The service was great with all orders correct. The show was fantastic. Highly recommend!

It was a really enjoyable evening. We found our own way there using Uber so can’t comment on transport options. We were shown into a cabaret area where we had our 3 course meal with a bottle of wine, all included. The meal was good with plenty of options on the menu. We then stayed at our table just by the stage to watch the show which was excellent. It was a mixture of music and dance with plenty of costume changes and the show was just over an hour long.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is wine included at La Ventana?
Yes. Wine, beverages and coffee or tea are all listed among the inclusions, and unlike some venues here the drinks are not split across menu grades. The house red is part of what La Ventana promotes about the evening.
Does La Ventana include hotel pickup?
It depends which option you book, and the listing is unusually clear about it. 'Dinner & Show without Transfer' and 'Show Only Without Transfer' are sold as distinct options alongside versions that include round-trip transfers from central accommodation. Check the option name before paying.
What is the vintage bus option at La Ventana?
One booking option brings you to the venue in an old-style vintage bus as a themed way to start the evening. It is a separate option from the standard hotel transfer, so select it deliberately if you want it.
Can La Ventana handle dietary requirements?
Yes, but only if you tell them in advance. The listing asks you to advise any specific dietary requirement at the time of booking. A request made when you arrive is unlikely to be met, because the kitchen works to a fixed menu.
Is there a children's price at La Ventana?
Yes. A child rate applies, but only when the child is sharing with at least one paying adult. Gratuities are not included in any of the prices.
